Thieves rain on local church camping trip: Redmond Police looking for two stolen vehicles

Overlake Christian Church had a camping trip scheduled for today with hundreds of kids looking forward to leaving this morning. They showed up at the 9900 block of Willows Road only to find a moving truck full of camping equipment, electronic equipment, and goods had been stolen overnight. Another car was also stolen from the church parking lot and four others were prowled.

SANTA CRUZ — The legal loophole that has allowed dozens of protesters to camp in front of the county courthouse for more than three weeks closed Wednesday when city and county officials determined the city’s camping ban applied to the county property because it falls within city limits.
