Outdoor Living

Outdoor living can encompass a great variety of activities revolving around nature. Sitting outside and watching birds is a way to connect with nature that does not necessarily require a lot of money for travel. Doing your own gardening is connecting with nature in an intimate way.
More literally outdoor living is camping in the woods or elsewhere. While on this camping trip you are cooking and sleeping outdoors. At night you will see how well you can connect with nature. While on this camping trip it would be wise and fun to take some time for kayaking, getting into a canoe or rowboat, and to top it all off, some whitewater rafting will have you commuting with nature in no time. Going up and down the hills or mountains with a backpack while on your camping trip would be quite healthy. Hiking is a wonderful activity to get to know the outdoors you have only read or heard about. We can mention mountain climbing but let us not get ahead of ourselves and overdo it.
Combining some exercise with outdoor living could have you on your bicycle, whether touring the city or the back roads on your mountain bike. Last but not least is motorcycling. Instead of being inside a car (unless it is a convertible), you are gliding down the road open to the elements. Wind whipping by you and bugs on your glasses or between your teeth.
Outdoor living is a good way to connect with nature. It is far better than sitting on the couch and watching nature through your television screen. Get outside and commute with nature. There is certainly an activity or two that you excel at or at least hold your own in doing. Start slowly and expand your horizons. You will feel much better.
