Campground ordinance may pass today (The Argus Leader)

After months of talk and tweaking, Sioux Falls city officials are expected today to approve an amended ordinance regulating campgrounds and camping units. Most of the ordinance changes deal with state health guidelines. Others pertain to space size for each camping site.

PIERRE — Mark Larson of Huron, S.D., Pam Meyer of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Kevin Lukken of Salix, IA, were the 2009 winners of the South Dakota State Park’s Camping Give Away.
